Since the move to UMDNJ, the group is re-establishing itself. Two post-doctoral research positions are available

Two post-doctoral research positions are available immediately to work with Dr Grant Gallagher at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. The lab is 15 minutes from central New York.

The first position is to examine the use of microarraying and quantitative RTPCR to identify candidate genes relevant to bone loss in human autoimmune disease and to develop novel genetic markers in these genes for linkage and association studies.

The second position is to work on the immunobiology of IL-19, a novel homologue of IL-10, and its receptor, in human immunology and immune-mediated diseases.

Salary will be at a minimum of $29,000 on the NIH scale for Post-Docs, but may be greater, depending on experience. These positions are available for two years in the first instance and applicants will be at an advantage if they can demonstrate directly relevant experience.

While candidates embarking on their first post-doctoral position are very welcome, these jobs are not suitable for individuals with an MSc only.
